If you are looking for a traditional lakeland cottage, then you will be delighted with Hollens Farm Cottage. With its wood beams, lakeland flagged floor, log burner, Range style dual fuel cooker, central heating and characterful bathroom our cottage has it all.
With a south facing courtyard, ample parking for two cars and all the amenities that Grasmere village has to offer, we hope you will want to return time and time again.
There are an abundance of delightful walks straight from the doorstep of our Grasmere cottage for the novice walker to the experienced climber.
Price includes for gas, electric , bedding and bath towels. Strictly No Smoking/Vaping or Pets allowed.
Not suitable for children under the age of 3.
Minimum 5 night stay. Saturday changeover day.
Sitting Room
Our warm and cosy Sitting Room with log burner, traditional wood beams, smart tv, dvd player and seating for 4. With the sun streaming in through the window it is a lovely relaxing setting to while away the hours after an adventurous day in the Lake District.
Kitchen
Our traditional kitchen with Lakeland flagged floor, wood beams, Range style dual fuel cooker and traditional pine seating, it adds to the character of our cottage. There is also a microwave, under counter fridge with small integral freezer compartment, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board along with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
Log Burner
With oak beam above it is perfect to cosy up in front of on a cold winters evening. Upstairs is a bookcase with a selection of reading material and DVDs for all ages.
Master Bedroom
Situated upstairs is the warm and sunny south facing Master Bedroom with Kingsize bed with a vaulted ceiling and roof light. From the window seat there are far reaching views over the roof tops towards Sour Milk Ghyll and Silver How. The bed will be made up for your arrival.
Twin Bedroom
Also upstairs is the pretty south facing twin room with a view over the courtyard towards Loughrigg Fell. There are two single beds and a roof light. The beds will be made up for your arrival.
Bathroom
Situated on the ground floor is our quaint bathroom with towel warmer, under floor heating, wall mounted shower over the bath, ornate corner sink and high level flush toilet.
